International Conference on:
Advances in Security of Information and Communication Networks, (SecNet 2013) http://egyptscience.net/SecNet13/index.html At a glance: Recently, and due to the large diversity of the hackers and attacks, information security has become a crucial need for securing almost all information transaction applications. Cryptography, watermarking and data hiding are the basic notions in developing information security related algorithms and solutions. Biometrics technologies such as fingerprint, iris pattern and retinal scan can be integrated with the traditional information security techniques in order to achieve much stronger security levels. In spite of the large development in the information security techniques, there are still several challenges that need to be addressed. Computer networks are large and diverse domains that still include many security holes that need to get investigated. SecNet 2013 focus on three related research areas as cryptology, information security and computer networks security with respect to trends, advanced techniques and the applications. The aim of SecNet 2013 is to attract researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, and provide a discussion panel in order to share their experiences in the focused research areas. Topicsof interest include but are not limited to: Access control Data protection Applied cryptography Complex systems security Biometric security and privacy Intellectual property protection Cryptographic primitives and protocols Internet fraud Security in P2P systems Network security protocols Protection for the future Internet Privacy, anonymity, and untraceability Security and privacy in wireless networks Security and privacy in cloud and grid systems Paper Submission: SecNet 2013 solicits original, unpublished, and high-quality research papers. The authors are invited to submit their contributions formatted as Springer's LNCS single column with 8-10 pages for long papers, and 5-7 pages for short papers. Submitted papers will be refereed by at least two reviewers for quality, correctness, originality and relevance. All accepted papers will be published in SecNet 2013 conference proceedings. It is planned to publish the proceedings with Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science series (Final Approval Pending). The authors are encouraged to follow the submission link with a pre-submission registration: [http://senldogo0039.springer-sbm.com/ocs/conference/submitpaperto/SecNet2013]. Submission Schedule: The authors are encouraged to periodically check the conference web page to know the up-to-date deadlines. Deadline for paper submission: April 30, 2013 Notification of acceptance/rejection: May 30 , 2013 Deadline for camera-ready submission: June 15, 2013 Conference dates: September 3-5, 2013 Contact Us: Dr.: Ali Ismail Awad, Al Azhar University, Egypt, [aawad@ieee.org] Professor: Aboul Ella Hassanien (General Chair), Cairo University, Egypt, [aboitcairo@gmail.com] |
