The conference aims at providing a forum for researchers, students and professionals to exchange ideas, share their experiences, and discuss their research results around a single-track of technical sessions and a series of Tutorials.
After the first successful edition of Network of the Future in Brisbane (Australia) in 2010, the 2011edition in Paris (France), and the 2012 edition in Tunis (Tunisia), the fourth edition of Network of the Future will be held in Pohang (South Korea) on October 23-25, 2013. The conference solicits submission of papers describing significant and innovative research contributions. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: Technologies for Future Internet Network protocols and architectures Autonomous and self-organized networks Self-Management Frameworks Quality of services and traffic engineering Cyber-physical systems and the Internet of Things Content distribution networks Cloud computing and network virtualization Software-defined networking Programmable networking Machine-to-machine networking Publish/subscribe network architectures Wireless and mobile networks Mesh, ad hoc and sensor networks Vehicular ad hoc networks and intelligent transportation systems Advances in cellular networks, femtocell networks Broadband access technologies Mobile Internet applications Security, trust and privacy challenges User-centric networking Information-centric networking Social networking, crowdsourcing, cloud services E-services and smart cities Green computing PAPER SUBMISSION Submitted papers must present original, unpublished research or experiences. Work-in-progress reports from ongoing research are also encouraged. A 5-page limitation applies. Papers should follow the IEEE double-column conference paper template.
