The conference will take place this Summer in Rome, Italy, on July 25-27. DATA 2012 aims to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested on databases, data warehousing, data mining, data management, data security and other aspects of information systems and technology involving advanced applications of data. The conference will feature four keynote lectures delivered by distinguished world-class researchers: Prof. Andreas Holzinger (Medical University Graz, Austria), Prof. Alfred Inselberg (Tel Aviv University, Israel), Prof. Daniela Nicklas (Carl von Ossietzky Universitaet Oldenburg, Germany) and Dr. John Shaw (Mainstream Renewable Power, Ireland). The Program Committee (check the website for a detailed list) includes internationally distinguished experts in the conference topic areas. Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers (full, short and posters) will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. BAMO The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP and Elsevier Index (EI). All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SciTePress Digital Library (http://www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary/). SciTePress is member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/). Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session. Workshops, Special sessions, Tutorials and Demonstrations dedicated to other technical/scientific topics are also envisaged: companies and researchers interested in presenting their products/methodologies/results in a dedicated satellite event are invited to contact the conference secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from several types of support, including logistics, secretariat and financial, to facilitate the development of a valid idea. DATA 2012 will be held in conjunction with ICSOFT (7th International Conference on Software Paradigm Trends - http://www.icsoft.org) and ICETE (9th International Joint Conference on e-Business and Telecommunications - http://www.icete.org). Registration to DATA will allow free access to both ICSOFT and ICETE, as a non-speaker.
