Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges 2013 Southwestern Regional Conference In cooperation with the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) CCSC:SW brings together faculty, staff and students from academic institutions throughout the Southwestern United States for the exchange of ideas and information concerning all levels of computing education. Please share the attached call for papers with your colleagues and students. Conference Dates: April 5 - 6, 2013 Conference Location: California State University San Marcos, San Marcos, CA Conference Web Site: http://www.ccsc.org/southwestern/2013/ Important Dates: Submissions Due: November 30, 2012 (extended) Notification of Acceptance: December 21, 2012 Camera-ready Copy Due: January 3, 2013 Student Posters Abstracts: March 8, 2013 Scholarly Papers We invite original, unpublished experience reports, research, case studies, philosophical papers and tool papers that address topics related to computing education. Following a double-blind peer review, accepted papers will be presented at the conference and will be published in The Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges. All papers must be no longer than 6 single-spaced pages in length (including illustrations). Panels & Tutorials We invite proposals for panels and tutorials on topics that are consistent with the themes of the conference. Student Posters Students are encouraged to submit abstracts on topics related to computing sciences for the poster session which will be held at the conference.
