The inscription for the qualification test for the VIII Spanish Parallel Programming Contest is open until June 10th.

The registration is done through the contest warmup-registration in the system
of the Center of Supercomputing of Galicia (CESGA):
mooshak.cesga.es
where the contests of 2017 are open for practice.

The Qualification test will celebrate online (no presential), in June 14th, 2018,
from 16:00 to 20:00 (Spanish time).

The final will be during the Jornadas Sarteco (http://www.jornadassarteco.org/), to celebrate in Teruel, Spain, September 12th-14th 2018.

Spanish university students (first or second cycle degree, master or doctorate)
with a maximum age of 28 at the time of registration can participate.

Non-Spanish students are allowed to participate in exhibition form (without prizes).

The contest consits of the parallelization with OpenMP, MPI, CUDA and/or MIC
of sequential codes.
The score is based in the speed-up with respect to the sequential version provided by the organization.
