The 14th International Conference on VIBRATION ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY OF MACHINERY (VETOMAC XIV) will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in September 10 - 13, 2018, under the joint organization of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (DEC/FCT/UNL) and IDMEC - Institute of Engineering Mechanics, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (IDMEC/IST/UL). The hosting institution will be the University of Lisbon. The main objective of the conference is to bring together researchers and engineers devoting their work to vibration-related problems in different areas of engineering applications on a common platform. It is believed that VETOMAC XIV will have a significant impact on the development of contemporary analytical, numerical and experimental methods in vibration and technology of machinery problems, and will also create an opportunity for opening a forum for discussion and collaboration among the participants.
