The Seventh Latin-American Network Operations and Management Symposium
(LANOMS´2011) http://www.lanoms.org/2011/ Quito, Ecuador October 10-11, 2011 - Co-located with CLEI & LANC Promoted by Potificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Technically Co-Sponsored by the Brazilian Computing Society IFIP W.G. 6.6 (to be confirmed) LANOMS is the major Latin-American event dedicated to discussing the many issues related to the operations and management of computer networks. LANOMS has been held in odd-numbered years since 1999 and pursues the tradition of the NOMS and APNOMS events.The 7th edition will be held on October 10-11, 2011 in Quito, co-located with CLEI and LANC. The technical program of LANOMS´2011 will include sessions on the latest technical advances in all aspects of the operation and management of networks, services, applications and distributed systems in general. Both regular papers (8-page limit) and short papers (4-page limit) will be accepted. The format is IEEE 2-column for conference proceedings. All submissions must be made electronically through JEMS (https://submissoes.sbc.org.br). There will be an award for the best paper of the conference. The conference proceedings, including regular papers and practical experience reports, will be published by the IEEE CS (to be confirmed). Program Committee Chairs: Elias P.
