The application for English paper presentation is a two-step procedure and it includes the submission of Registration Form to conference@culturalrelations.org and payment of registration fee (45 EUR + 15 EUR money transfer fee). Deadline of submission: 11 October, 2013. Authors will be notified of conditional acceptance or rejection within 5 working days after submission. Registration fee shall be paid by bank transfer or cheque prior to event or at the same time as first day registration. Please note that in case of group registration and papers with co-authors all registration fees are per person.
In absentia presentations are possible under some conditions. Registration fee for in absentia presentation is 60 EUR (plus 15 EUR international money transfer fee). The application for participation only is a two-step procedure and it includes the submission of Registration Form to conference@culturalrelations.org and payment of registration fee (25 EUR + 15 EUR money transfer fee). Deadline of submission & payment: 11 October, 2013. NOTE that the international money transfer fee is 15 EUR. If you intend to transfer the conference fee outside Hungary the total sum will be 60 EUR for speakers and 40 EUR for listener registration. In order to reduce money transfer costs, speakers are entitled to make payment in cash during the registration (original speaker registration fee 45 EUR). Professor at the International Relations and European Studies Department of the Central European University (CEU), Budapest. ► Prof. György SCHÖPFLIN – Member of the European Parliament, full member in the Parliament’s Constitutional Affairs Committee (AFCO). Until recently he was teaching at the University of London and the University of Bologna, Italy. ► H.E. Roman KOWALSKI – Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Hungary. ► H.E. Gordan GRLIĆ RADMAN – Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Hungary. ► Bálint ÓDOR – Deputy State Secretary for EU Affairs. Lecturer at Budapest Business School. Sessions and paper topics (Possible directions may include, but are not restricted to, the following): • Further European integration: How far to enlarge? • European Union: New regionalism? • Countries attitude towards EU integration and EU policies • Cultural pluralism in the EU: National or European identity? • European citizenship • Minority and immigration issues • Security issues and future of joint military operations • New horizons: Multi-speed Europe? • Workforce mobility • Youth unemployment in Europe • Economic and financial crisis / European competitiveness • Sustainable development in the EU • EU institutions: Structures, governance, legislation • Euroscepticism During the event, the ICRP is pleased to be able to offer you optional social activity in the evening of the 25th October in the form of group dinner in a restaurant. Should you wish to attend this group meal, you will be required to register and pre-pay 15 EUR for this at the time of your registration (in order for the ICRP to finalize the number of the participants at the restaurant). We therefore encourage you to decide in advance if you would like to attend this meal (warmly recommended). If you wish to order vegetarian meal, please inform the ICRP Team desk as you register for the dinner. |
