The 10th International Forum on Strategic Technology 2015 (IFOST 2015) is organized by The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. IFOST 2015 will be held on June 3-5, 2015 in Bali. IFOST is a unique and identifiable forum not only for an international conference to link academia but also to facilitate cooperation between academia and industries even including policy makers on strategic technology. The main theme of IFOST 2015 is “Towards Sustainable Engineering and Technology”.
Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, with its varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides all providing a picturesque backdrop to its colourful, deeply spiritual and unique culture, stakes a serious claim to be paradise on earth. With world-class surfing and diving, a large number of cultural, historical and archaeological attractions, and an enormous range of accommodations, this is one of the world's most popular island destinations and one which consistently wins travel awards. Bali has something to offer a very broad market of visitors from young back-packers right through to the super-rich. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings of IFOST 2015 and is indexed by IEEE Xplore. Submission Procedures Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit an abstract initially for registration. Before March 1 2015, a full paper, not exceeding 6 pager of A4-paper size, should be uploaded in PDF IEEE double column format through the EDAS. If you do not have an EDAS login, you have to create an account. The official language in the conference is English. The solicited papers will cover a variety of topics including as follows: Section 1. Information & Communication Technology, Control & Instrumentation and Robotics Section 2. Energy Engineering and Technology: Fossil & Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Section 3. Civil Engineering, Urban Planning and Architecture, Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation and Surveying & Remote Sensing Section 4.
