This conference will explore innovative pedagogical approaches to academic recognition of student mobility, focusing on learning outcomes. The discussions will revolve around the necessity of linking education with work, ensuring curriculum transparency, and improving recognition and study transfer procedures. We invite participants to engage in meaningful conversations that enhance collaboration among Western Balkans (WB6) higher education institutions, ultimately supporting student exchange and regional employability.

Proposed thematic areas:

We encourage proposals that address the following subthemes:

• Innovative practices in academic recognition;

• The impact of student mobility on employability;

• Curriculum transparency and comparability;

• Strategies for improving recognition processes;

• Experiences and challenges in integrating mobility in higher education.

Submission guidelines:

We invite academics, non-academics who deal with mobility practices (e.g., International Relations, Exchange or Erasmus Office representatives, or similar), and students who have participated in mobility programmes to submit their proposals. We encourage participants to share their mobility experiences, insights, and research findings that align with the conference theme.

Abstract submission:

Please send your abstracts (about 250 words) for papers (20 min) as an MS word attachment to the following email address (morinfinalconference@gmail.com) by 30 April 2025. Abstracts should include:

title of paper;

author's name and affiliation;

e-mail address;

thematic area;

3-5 keywords.

They should clearly outline the purpose, methodology, and significance of the proposed paper.

The conference language is English.

Format:

This conference will adopt a blended format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation to maximise outreach and engagement. This approach will ensure a diverse range of contributions to the discussions, enhancing the visibility and dissemination of ideas.
