The IT Research Center for the Holly Quran and its Sciences (NOOR) is pleased to announce the forthcoming "Taibah University International Conference on Advances in Information Technology for the Holy Quran and its Sciences" (NOORIC).
NOORIC aims to gather worldwide researchers, academic scholars and industrial practitioners that represent a wide variety of IT specializations for the service of the Holy Quran and its sciences. The conference shall provide a platform for sharing and exploring high-quality and recent research results, industrial/applied practices and future trends in the domain of information technology for the service of the Holy Quran and its sciences. NOORIC is Technically Co-Sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society. Conference Forum: NOORIC will also host a Forum (Multaqa) for researchers and interested stakeholders on Information Technology for the Holy Quran and its Sciences. Themes and Topics: NOORIC welcomes contributions based on novel and high-quality research and case-studies in the following research themes: - IT for the Science of the Holy Quran Recitations (Qiraat). - IT for the Science of Tafseer of the Holy Quran. - IT Security for the Holy Quran and Its Sciences. - Virtual Learning Environment for the Holy Quran and Its Sciences. - Standardization and Quality Assurance of IT applications and products of the Holy Quran and Its Sciences. The scope of NOORIC contributions should relate to IT research for the service of the Holy Quran and its Sciences. Research topics include, but are not limited to the following: - Image Analysis and Processing - Speech and Signal Processing - Pattern Recognition - Artificial Intelligence - Embedded Systems - Cloud Computing - Semantic and Web Ontology - Knowledge Management - Web- and Grid-based Simulation - Data Mining - Information Retrieval and Management - Indexing, storage and data-analysis techniques - Information Security - Internet Security - Computer Based Education - eLearning - Blended and Collaborative Learning - Ubiquitous Learning - Adaptive Learning Systems - Innovative Online Learning Systems - Advanced Technologies for People with Special Needs - Multimedia Computing - Computer Games - Computer Animation - Quality Assurance - Standardization Submission: Authors wishing to submit their papers to this conference are invited to submit initial abstracts via the NOOR Center Website, http://nooritc.org. Research papers should be concisely written in accordance with the NOOR Center Manuscript Template found in the Authors Instructions page. All contributions will be peer-reviewed to ensure high-quality content and relevance. All full-paper submissions shall then be considered for oral presentations and will be published in the conference proceedings. Keynote Speakers: In addition to sessions featuring original contributions from conference participants, the conference will include a number of plenary sessions featuring presentations from renowned researchers, scholars and practitioners.
