We are very pleased to announce the start of the Abstract submission for the EGU General Assembly 2013 (EGU2013), 07 Apr 2013 - 12 Apr 2013, Vienna, Austria. You are cordially invited to submit your scientific works to our session:
Multifractional Brownian motions in geosciences

This session is devoted to demonstrate the contribution of multifractional Brownian motions (mBm) in geosciences. Researchers are invited to submit papers dealing with the following applications of this process and other relevant topics:

- Well logging;
- Petrophysical characterization of oil/gas reservoir;
- Analysis of the geomagnetic activity;
- Signal and image processing analysis of geological/geophysical data;
- Probabilistic and statistical properties of mBm of interest in Geosciences;

The deadline for the receipt of Abstracts is 09 Jan 2013.

In case you would like to apply for financial support, please submit no later than 30 Nov 2012.

Best wishes,
