CALL FOR PAPERS January 2013 Issue Last Date for Submissions: 31 December 2012 Focal Theme: Humanities Post 9/11 Theme Note The spectacularly thunderous collapse of the WTC on 9/11 virtually marks the inauguration of the “new century”. HC invites research papers, project reports, critical commentaries, photo essays, and professional reviews, preferably with an interdisciplinary perspective, for its forthcoming issue. Submissions should be related to, but not be limited to, the following sub-themes: Post 9/11 Discourses and Representations on: Secularism, Religiosity and Irreligiosity Literary Responses and Representations Theatre/Artistic Interventions Cultural Studies Scenario International/Intranational Relations Cyber Space Activism Paradigms of Information and Propaganda Identity & Subjectivity Cinematic Imagination Pedagogical Reorientations LGBT…Sexualities…Minorities Capitalistic, Marxist Rhetoric Economics of Turbulent Times Conflict and Strategic Studies Legislative, Jurisprudential, Defence Measures United Nations Organisation Vs Other Alliances Historiography, Philosophy and Sociology Arrival of Terrorology Migration/Immigration/Diaspora Questions Public Sphere & Popular Uprisings Apparatuses of Surveillance Etc.
