CFP for NETGCOOP 2012
International Conference on Network Games, Control and Optimization 28--30 November 2012, Paris, France http://www.netgcoop.org/ Scope ------------- The topic of network control and optimization has been of increasing importance in many networking application domains, such as mobile and fixed access networks, computer networks, social networks, transportation networks, and smart grids. These all require tools (both conceptual and algorithmic) for a better and more efficient control operation, for optimization of their performance, and/or for a better understanding of the relationships between entities that may be cooperative or act selfishly, and in an uncertain and possibly adversarial environment. The goal of this international forum is to bring together researchers from different areas with theoretical expertise in game theory, control, and optimization, and with applications in the domains listed above. Topics of interest to NetGCOOP include (but are not limited to): * Resource allocation in networks * Optimization and control theoretical tools in networking * Algorithmic game theory * Learning in games, multi-agent learning * Computation of Nash, correlated, and market equilibria * Hierarchical optimization and games in networking * Incentives for cooperation between network entities * Network pricing * Preference elicitation and winner determination in combinatorial auctions * Flow and congestion control in networks * Control of queuing networks * Networked control systems * Stochastic control * Dynamical systems and stochastic approximation * Scheduling transmissions in networking * Transport networks * Optimization of wireless networks * Grid applications * Trust and reputation management * Formation of social networks * Competitive routing * Biological networks Important Dates -------------------- Deadline for submissions: August 22, 2012 Notification of acceptance: September 24, 2012 Camera ready version: October 8, 2012 Conference dates: November 28-30, 2012 Papers and Submission ---------------------------------- Submissions should be written in English and include no more than 4 double-column pages, 10pt, IEEE format (http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/ conferenceTemplates.html). Papers can be submitted via: https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=netgcoop2012 Each paper will be subject to a full review process. Submissions must be original work not under review at any other workshop, conference or journal. Camera-ready versions of accepted papers can be up to 8 double-column pages, 10pt, IEEE format. The conference proceedings will be accessible through IEEE Xplore (pending). Awards will be given to two best papers presented at the conference.
