Call For Papers

Aim:

In the track on New Trends in Wavelet and Numerical Analysis, we intend to share and exchange the new trends in wavelet and numerical analysis, and discuss new possibilities for wavelet and numerical analysis. The scopes will cover all the aspects of Wavelet and Numerical Analysis, with theories, methods, and applications.

Topics:

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Wavelet transforms
Wavelet-based signal and image processing
Wavelet-based numerical method
Wavelets in applied mathematics and numerical analysis
Numerical methods for differential and integral equations
Numerical linear algebra
Validated numerics and its related topics
Computer-assisted proofs and verification for differential equations
Interval analysis and its applications
Numerical computation and reliability

Paper Submission:

Authors should submit a 6-page version of their original and unpublished work including 5 keywords in the CPS format to their respective track/session chair. Papers that do not fit the scope of any of the existing sessions, should be submitted to the ITNG General Track. Per ITNG policy, all papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. See ITNG2016 submission page for detail.

Evaluation Process

Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness. Per ITNG policy, except for invited papers, all papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN, and will be indexed in DBLP and Scopus as in the past conferences.

Best Student Paper:

The Best Student Paper will be awarded at the conference. To be eligible, the student must be the sole author of the paper, or the first author and primary contributor. (The winner of the award will present the paper in a plenary session at the conference). A cover letter to the General Chair/Track Chair must identify the paper as a candidate for this competition at the time of submission.
