Welcome to the 12th Workshop »Digital Broadcasting« held on September 12 and 13, 2012 in Ilmenau, Germany. This event continues a successful series of workshops held alternately in Ilmenau and Erlangen to introduce the newest developments in the area of Digital Broadcasting.

This year we are preparing a particularly interesting program. Besides keynote speakers and five technical sessions, the attendees will have the opportunity to visit the labs of Fraunhofer IDMT as well as the brand new Fraunhofer IIS testing facility “Am Vogelherd”. Moreover, the frequent coffee breaks and the dinner event will offer plenty of opportunities to discuss new ideas and to initiate new fruitful collaborations.
