Nature-inspired computing and metaheuristics form a substantial amount of activities in computational intelligence, data-mining, business intelligence, information technology and their applications. Web intelligence on the other hand concerns about research and application of machine learning and information technology with a specific focus on the Web platforms. These two emerging research trends when converged, are expected to produce multiplying effects on performance improvement and new possibilities for creating the next generation of computational services and practical applications based on the Internet. This research workshop, intends to provide a platform along with IEEE/ACM/WI-IAT conference for researchers to review and discuss the latest development in the following theoretical and application areas (but not limited):
Topics Algorithms and metaheuristics- Ant colony optimization - Artificial immune systems - Bee algorithms - Cuckoo search - Differential evolution - Genetic algorithms - Genetic programming - Firefly algorithm - Harmony search - Particle swarm optimization - Simulated annealing - Tabu search - and others Web Applications based on Nature-Inspired Computing and Metaheuristics- Decision support systems - Web intelligence and optimization - Web/Data mining - Intelligent information technology - Intelligent agents and nature-inspired computing - Real-world applications Papers accepted and presented at the workshop will be published in the workshops proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society Press, which are indexed by EI. High-quality workshops will be recommended to pursue special issues in WI/IAT related journals, and other SCOPUS/SCIE indexed journals for very fast-track reviews. We understand the importance of timely publication of fresh research results, especially in the bio-inspired computing fields. |
