Presentations
The 2013 ICRC welcomes submissions of case studies, original research, lessons learned/best practices, experiential reports, or normative recommendations related to crisis and risk communication, especially regarding the 2013 theme of Rethinking Media. The conference encourages submission of original research and scholarship, especially those reflecting interdisciplinary approaches to investigating the area of crisis and risk communication.

Title and Abstract: November 2, 2012
Notification of Acceptance: December 7, 2012
Finished slide presentation (e.g. PowerPoint™) deadline for accepted presentations: January 7, 2013

Presentation Guidelines
Submissions accepted for presentation at the conference should be converted to a slide presentation format (e.g. PowerPoint™) and entire content limited to no more than 30 minutes in length. Deadline: January 7, 2013





How to Submit
Presentation abstract submissions should be prepared in Microsoft Word™ and include:
• Title and 500 word (maximum) description of the presentation content
• Self-identify one or more subject area to which the presentation is most appropriate
• Name and credentials of the author(s)/presenter (If more than one author, specify one presenter)
• Submissions should be made electronically as an attachment to an email submitted to icrc@ucf.edu




Submission requires commitment to attend and present at the conference if accepted and scheduled for presentation. If PowerPoint™ slides and conference registration fee deadlines are not met, submission acceptance will be surrendered.
