Symposium Overview
ICA3PP 2010 is the 10th in this series of conferences started in 1995 that are devoted to algorithms and architectures for parallel processing. ICA3PP is now recognized as the main regular event of the world that is covering the many dimensions of parallel algorithms and architectures, encompassing fundamental theoretical approaches, practical experimental projects, and commercial components and systems. As applications of computing systems have permeated in every aspects of daily life, the power of computing system has become increasingly critical. This conference provides a forum for countries around the world to exchange ideas for improving the computation power of computing systems. Topics include but are not limited to the following: •Cluster, Distributed & Parallel Operating Systems and Middleware •Cluster, Grid and Fault-tolerant Computing •Multi-core Programming and Software Tools •Distributed Scheduling and Load Balancing •High-performance Scientific Computing •Parallel Algorithms •Parallel Architectures •Parallel and Distributed Databases •Parallel I/O Systems and Storage Systems •Parallel Programming Paradigms •Performance of Parallel & Distributed Computing Systems •Tools and Environments for Parallel & Distributed Software Development •Web Services •Software and hardware reliability, testing, verification and validation •Security quantification •Self-healing, self-protecting and fault-tolerant systems •Information security in Internet •Multi-medium in parallel computing •Bioinformatics in parallel computing •Dependability issues in computer networks and communications •Dependability issues in distributed and parallel systems •Dependability issues in embedded parallel systems •Industrial applications •Scientific applications Important Dates Workshop Proposal: November 1, 2009 Workshop Acceptance Notification: November 15, 2009 Submission Deadline: November 30, 2009 Authors Notification: January 30, 2010 Final Manuscript Due: February 28, 2010 Registration Due: February 28, 2010 Submission Guideline Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers. The proceedings of the conference will be published by LNCS, Springer. The length of the camera-ready manuscripts will be limited to 10 pages. Detailed instructions for electronic paper submission can be found at the conference web site. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and present the paper at the symposium. |
