Conference Theme:
ACIS 2010 will be dedicated to the definition and establishment of Information Systems as a discipline of high impact for the scientific community and IS professionals. The focus will be on approaches that facilitate the identification of research questions of significant relevance that are studied following sound research methodologies and lead to results of measureable impact.Thus, the theme for ACIS 2010 will be: Information Systems: Defining and Establishing a High Impact Discipline This conference theme will be introduced by Prof. Robert D Galliers, Bentley University, USA, in his opening keynote “Information Systems as a Field of Study”. ACIS 2010 will be organized in conference tracks and this Call invites Information Systems academics and professionals to submit papers to any of the following confirmed conference tracks. * Business Process Management * Information Technology in Creative Environments * Green Information IT / IS * Information Systems Development * Service Management Design * Governance, Risk and Compliance * Mobile Business and Services * IS Leadership and the Role of the CIO Each track is chaired by national and international thought leaders and includes one actively involved organization highlighting the commitment to the conference theme. Submissions are also invited on any topics relevant to information systems and are not limited to the tracks above. For most of these tracks the opportunity to fast-track selected best papers to high quality IS journals will be available. |
