I would like to draw your attention to the short course that I will give during the 15th Annual Conference of the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences. This conference will be held in Madrid Spain 02-06 September 2013.

Course Title: EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICS IMPROVEMENT BY THE FRACTAL ANALYSIS AND NEURAL NETWORK

Fractal analysis and neural network have been widely used for exploration geophysics. They can help for reservoir characterization, improved oil recovery, structural geology, mining research, near surface geophysics for exploration etc. The short course will show the utility of the fractal analysis and neural network in the exploration geophysics. Each part of the course will be enhanced by recent examples on real data. Scientists/students interested by the topic are welcome.
