1st Ambient and Web Intelligence Conference, December 13-14 2012, Lodz,
Poland

The Ambient and Web Intelligence Conference - AWIC brings together
scientists, engineers, computer users, and students to exchange and
share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all
aspects (theory, applications and tools) of intelligent methods applied
to ambient, including Web based, systems, and to discuss the practical
challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. During the conference
the following special sessions and workshops will be held:

Methods, models and technology for semantic-driven knowledge building

Paper submission July 30, 2012
Acceptance notification October 6, 2012
Camera-ready papers October 20, 2012
Conference December 13-14, 2012

The AWIC 2012 papers will be published by Springer as part of their
Advances in Soft Computing series. Papers should have a length of up to
10 pages following the Springer format: http://www.springer.com/series/4240

The conference will cover a broad set of intelligent methods, with
particular emphasis on soft computing. Methods such as (but not
