Following the success of the previous international conferences, the 3rd International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Assistive Technologies (BEATS) will be held at Panjab University, Chandigarh during February 14-15, 2014. It gives me immense pleasure to unfold BEATS-2014 at Chandigarh, known as ‘The City Beautiful’.
The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers from different disciplines that are contributing towards patient care by applying engineering skills to healthcare technology aiming to improve quality of life. This conference is intended to provide an international forum where researchers, practitioners and professionals interested in the advances and applications of biomedical engineering can exchange the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas through presentation and discussion. The organizing committee is pleased to invite all researchers, engineers, physicians, scientists, technicians and technologists from the field of biomedical engineering and other emerging areas related to engineering and sciences to attend and help in shaping the future of medical health services. The conference will include keynote lectures, and presentations by invited speakers and individuals selected from submitted abstracts. We welcome you to share your innovative ideas through your active participation and contribution in the form of technical/research papers/findings, case studies.
