Call For Papers

Diversity in ICT teams has become an important parameter on which the success of projects depends. Indeed it has been demonstrated the importance of team mixing people of different gender, culture, religion and allocation of human resources in different countries, domains, etc to go beyond a unique model. Diversity plays a key role to have success and be competitive and innovative in software development.

In the case of gender diversity, the role of women in the Computing area has gained more and more importance with the emerging information age. In this scenario, following the success of last year edition, the special track on “Women in Software Architecture” co-located with ECSA 2018 will bring together students, young and senior researchers, as well as practitioners to present, share, and celebrate their technical accomplishments and experiences making research and/or working in the Software Architecture field. We will focus on papers about the role of women in software architectures in industry and academia. We also invite a keynote speaker. It is our pleasure to invite you to the special track of “Women in Software Architecture” @ECSA 2018!

Both women and men are invited to collaborate and attend to this track. Students, industry professionals, academics, and other leaders in computing are also welcome to promote networking and technical discussion to motivate the participation and visibility of women in the Software Architecture field.

We are looking for your contributions:
* Summaries, challenges, and studies regarding the role of women in Software Engineering, and more generally STEM (up to 4 pages)

All contributions will undergo a peer-review process. The accepted papers will be included in the ECSA 2018 companion volume to be published by ACM. For this, Camera Ready must be formatted according to the ACM SIG Proceedings Template
