Call for Papers

The Melbourne Journal of Politics's call for articles (5-7000wds), review essays, commentaries and book reviews for Issue 38 is closing soon. We encourage empirical and theoretical work in and across all fields that engage the political.

The Melbourne Journal of Politics (MJP) is an interdisciplinary academic journal produced annually since 1968. It publishes original articles from disciplines including political science, political theory, public policy, international relations, European studies, post-colonial studies and political sociology.

All articles are double, blind-refereed and are published in accordance with Australian Government Department of Education and Training requirements, as specified in the Higher Education Research Data Collection handbook. We welcome submissions from academics at all levels, especially early career academics and post-graduate students. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, whether experimental or theoretical.

Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must conform to the Author Guidelines and MJP Style Guide, available at http://mjp.arts.unimelb.edu.au/mjp/about/submissions

The deadline for submissions is June 20, 2015.
