Ambient Intelligence (AmI) aims to make our everyday living and working a better, a smarter and a more pleasant environment that pro-actively but non-intrusively supports us in our daily lives. It integrates technologies and algorithmic aspects from many domains: artificial intelligence, distributed and mobile computing, human-computer interfaces, sensor networks, collaborative and pervasive computing, robotics, context aware computing, and others. Considering AmI features and multi-disciplinary nature, intelligent agent technology is a very promising and suitable approach to support the development of AmI new systems and applications.
The Agent Technologies for Ambient Intelligence (AgTAmI) Workshop will bring together scientists and practitioners interested in discussing and exchanging views on how to make better use of agents and multi-agent systems in novel approaches and applications of AmI, how to better exploit a technology that has now arrived to its maturity, in order to create intelligence embedded in the environment and to adapt the environment to user’s interests and expectations. A debate on directions and future directions of research in the area will be organized by the end of the Workshop, giving the participants the possibility to share ideas and make new contacts. AgTAmI 2015 will be held in conjunction with the 20th International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS 20) in Bucharest, Romania, 27-29 May 2015, http://cscs20.acs.pub.ro/ The 20th edition of CSCS conference is technically supported by IEEE. The proceeding of CSCS20 will be published by IEEE CPS and will be indexed by IEEE Xplore. The conference proceedings will be submitted to Thomson Reuters WOS (ISI Proceedings) for indexing. The proceedings of the last edition of CSCS conference (CSCS19-2013), including the papers accepted for publications for AgTAmi 2013, were indexed by Thomson Reuters WOS (ISI Proceedings) and by IEEE Xplore. Call for Papers =============== The Workshop is looking for original contributions from, but not limited to the following topics: Sensing and reasoning technologies Multi-agent architectures for AmI applications Scalable AmI architectures Context aware computing and applications Trust and reputation in AmI environments Norms in pervasive computing Ambient intelligence services Human aware computing Human-centered interfaces based on agents Agents and the Internet of Things Agents and the Internet of Everything Agents for sensor networks Mobile agent computing Robots for AmI environments Societal applications based on multi-agent systems Social models for AmI Agents in Ambient Assisted Living Industrial applications of ambient intelligence Agents for Smart Cities Paper submission and publication ================================ Please send your paper(s) with no more than 8 pages, A-4 sheets, Times New Roman font, using the IEEE format. For submissions only PDF format is accepted. Details about author(s) must be provided: first name, last name, affiliation, position, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address. For papers with multiple authors the contact person must be indicated. You can confirm the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Author Guidelines at the following web page: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html. CSCS20 uses easychair for papers submission. In the submission phase, please select the main topics related to your paper, specify the full name for all authors and include the keywords. The CSCS19 submission system is available at: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cscs20. The papers accepted for the workshop will be published by IEEE Conference Publishing Service.
