Paper Presentation:
Paper Presentation is a conventional academic oral presentation. You can present any topics about digital art/design fields ranging from technical research to cultural matters. Artistic projects are also welcome. In any case, your presentation should mention both aesthetic aspects and technical aspects of your project. Also, a process of the project should be explained logically, and your contribution to digital art/design field must be clarified. Regardless of your topic, you must describe your project in a scholarly manner.
Artwork Presentation (New!):
New for ADADA2011! Artwork Presentation is a more artistically-oriented session. You can present any type of artwork, as long as digital technologies are used in it. If you produced a cutting-edge digital art such as a computer animation and an interactive art, Artwork Presentation would be a great showcase. You can share your ideas between hundreds of artists and researchers, and it may evoke a synergetic effect in Asian digital art community. You should describe an artistic motivation, a background of your artwork, and how digital technologies are involved in your work, and so on. No matter what type of artwork you present, your presentation must be made in an academic manner.

Exhibition
For greater exposure, we strongly encourage all artists who submit Artwork Paper to exhibit your work at the conference center during ADADA2011. Please indicate whether you can show your work or not on the online submission form. If you agree to bring your work, we will provide you a space to exhibit your work. But you are responsible for preparing necessary equipment such as computer by yourself. If there are a lot of video/animation submissions, we may provide a theater space and equipment such as video projector to show screen-based artworks. Once you submit a proceeding, we will shortly contact you to find out how to show your work. Details are expected to be announced shortly after the submission deadline. Please note that you are responsible for any cost involved in the exhibition. That is, we do not pay for packing, crating, shipping, insurance, and custom duty.

*PLEASE NOTE: A page layout of proceedings for "Artwork Presentation" is different from that of "Paper Presentation". Please refer to layout samples below. Also, a number of pages in Artwork Presentation is two.

Sample Files
Please submit a proceeding in PDF. You can download template files (MS-Word format), and sample/instruction files (PDF) from the following links. No matter what software you use to write your proceeding, please submist a PDF file only.
