2012 Research in Applied Computation Symposium (RACS 2012),
San Antonio, TX, USA, Ocober 23~26, 2012 http://sites.google.com/site/acmracs2012/ Sponsored by ACM SigAPP, ACCT, & KIISE SigDEP *** Aim & Scope *** RACS 2012 will provide an excellent forum for addressing research issues of concern within the applied computing area. Applied computing concentrates on innovative solutions to complex problems in all areas of industry and sciences using advanced techniques in computer science and engineering. It involves programming, software engineering, graphics, databases, wireless networks, security, distributed systems, operating systems and so on. Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to the applied computing. Topics will include, but not be limited to, the following areas: - Agent Systems and Applications - Bioinformatics - Data Mining - Database Systems - Distributed and Parallel Systems - Embedded Systems - Fault Tolerance and Reliability - Grid Computing - Intelligent Systems - Mobile Networking - Multimedia - Networking - Object Orientation - Operating Systems - Security and Trusted Computing - Sensor Networks - Smartphone Platform and Applications - Software Engineering - Technologies for E-Learning - WWW Applications and Technologies - Visualization - XML and other Extensible Languages *** Papers *** All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a blind review process by at least three referees. All accepted papers will be published under the ACM proceeding and will be included in the ACM Digital Library. Selected papers will be recommended for publication in several International Journals as a special RACS 2012 section. *** Special Workshop/Track Proposal *** In conjunction with the RACS 2012, a number of special workshops and tracks will be organized.
