The 19th Annual Conference on International Business and Contemporary Issues in Business is South Dakota’s premiere international conference, held in the beautiful Black Hills region of South Dakota.
In 2011, the conference hosted over forty papers in seven sessions on a variety of issues of interest to both the international business researcher and the business professional. The 2011 conference represented a diverse group of participants from countries around the world, including China, Germany, India, Oman, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and the United States. We expect the 2012 conference to achieve even better attendance marks.
The year the Conference on International Business and Contemporary Issues in Business will be held in Historic Deadwood, South Dakota at the Lodge at Deadwood. This little town has big history and a lot of fun attractions to visit. During the gold rush of 1874 many people fled to the little town of Deadwood in hopes of striking gold. Some of the legendary old Westerners (Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, and Seth Bullock) were a few of many who made history in this area. The Lodge at Deadwood is the town’s newest and most beautiful hotel accommodations that Deadwood has to offer. To learn more about Deadwood visit deadwood.com.
