This is a gently reminder for the upcoming deadline (May 28th, 2012) of the International Conference on Human-Centred Software Engineering (HCSE'2012) which is going to be held in Toulouse, France from October 29-31, 2012.
CONFERENCE OVERVIEW _______________________________ HCSE'2012 is a working conferences organized by the IFIP WG 13.2 Methodologies for User-Centered Systems Design. The main goal is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in strengthening the scientific foundations of user interface design, examining the relationship between software engineering (SE) and human-computer interaction (HCI) and on how to strengthen user-centered design as an essential part of software engineering process. Conference topics include: - Case studies and tools supporting user-centered system design - Domain specific best practices for user interfaces design - Engineering multi-display environments - HCI models and model-driven engineering - Incorporating guidelines and principles for designing usable products into the development processes - Integration of software engineering and user-centered design - Methods for user interface design - Patterns in HCI - Representations for design in the development process - Social and organizational aspects of software development in a life cycle perspective - Software architectures for user interfaces - Usability engineering - User experience and software design - User interfaces for ubiquitous environments - Working with iterative and agile process models IMPORTANT DATES ____________________________________ Submission (all paper tracks): May 28th 2012 Review notification: June 22nd 2012 Camera-ready submissions: July 17th 2012 Conference dates: October 29-31, 2012 SUBMISSIONS ________________________________________ Selected papers will be published by Springer in the LNCS series. HCSE welcomes contributions in the following tracks: - Research full paper (up to 16 pages) - Short papers (up to 8 pages) - Demonstration (up to 4 pages) ORGANIZERS _________________________________________ Marco Winckler, ICS-IRIT, University Paul Sabatier, France Peter Forbrig, University of Rostock, Germany Regina Bernhaupt, ICS-IRIT, University Paul Sabatier, France CONTACT ____________________________________________ email: organizers@hcse-conference.org Web site: http://hcse-conference.org |
