Dear colleagues,
The following Special Issue will be published in Molecules (ISSN 1420- 3049, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/), and is now open to receive submissions of full research papers and comprehensive review articles for peer-review and possible publication: Special Issue: Organic Iodine Chemistry Website: http://www.mdpi.com/si/molecules/organic_iodine/ Guest Editor: Prof. Dr. Bimal K. Banik Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 August 2012 You may send your manuscript now or up until the deadline. Submitted papers should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We also encourage authors to send us their tentative title and short abstract by e-mail for approval to the Editorial Office at molecules@mdpi.com. This Special Issue will be fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. More information is available at http://www.mdpi.com/about/openaccess/. The Article Processing Charges (APC) are of 1400 CHF per accepted article before 1 July 2012. The APC for manuscripts submitted from 1 July 2012 onwards are 1600 CHF per accepted paper. For details see: http://www.mdpi.com/about/apc/. Please visit the Instructions for Authors before submitting a manuscript: http://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/instructions/. Manuscripts should be submitted through the online manuscript submission and editorial system at http://www.mdpi.com/user/manuscripts/upload/. Molecules (ISSN 1420-3049) is the leading international, peer-reviewed open access journal of synthetic organic chemistry and natural product chemistry. Molecules is published by MDPI online monthly since 1996. Papers published in Molecules will receive high publicity since the journal is freely available online. Molecules is covered by leading indexing services, including PubMed (Medline), the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), Chemical Abstracts and Beilstein. The most recent Impact Factor for the year 2010 is 1.988. MDPI publishes several peer-reviewed, open access journals listed at http://www.mdpi.com/. The Editorial Board members, including several Nobel Laureates (http://www.mdpi.com/about/nobelists/), are all leading active scholars.
