been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication

short abstract by e-mail for approval to the Editorial Office at
polymers@mdpi.com.

This Special Issue will be fully open access. The Article Processing
Charges (APC) are 300 CHF per accepted paper before 1 July 2012.
In addition, a fee of 250 CHF may apply if English editing or extensive
revisions must be undertaken by the Editorial Office. More information can

Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and
promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open
