The 10th ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING Track at ACM SAC 2013
Within the 28th ACM Symposium on Applied Computing ------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE 10th ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING TRACK Enterprise Engineering is a relevant field of information systems research which investigates methods to facilitate the modelling, governance, deployment and analysis of the multiple aspects pertaining to an organization. Its primary focus is on understanding the relationships and dependencies between cross-cutting enterprise concerns, such as business processes, goals, strategy, organization, people and the supporting systems and technology. Enterprise Engineering therefore encompasses a rich set of multi-disciplinary topics, such as business process modelling, business intelligence enterprise architecture, organizational ontologies, service-oriented architectures, business-IT alignment, enterprise application integration and method engineering. The ACM SAC Enterprise Engineering track has provided an opportunity for theoretical research work and applied projects to be presented and shared, thus enabling researchers, academics and practitioners interested in enterprise engineering to present their projects, exchange their ideas and discuss open issues. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT DATES Paper submission deadline: 21 September 2012 Notification of acceptance: 10 November 2012 Camera-ready copy: 30 November 2012 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- TOPICS Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: *Enterprise Architecture* - Business modelling - Strategic and organizational modelling - Business-Systems-IT traceability and alignment - Enterprise architecture frameworks - Architectural views, viewpoints and layers - Enterprise and organizational ontologies - Model analysis, verification and validation - Formalization of enterprise models *Business Process Management* - Business process modelling - BPM lifecycle management - BPM governance - Business process simulation - Business process visualization - Process monitoring and mining - Process modelling and enactment in ERP, CRM, and SCM systems - Process-enhanced groupware - Formal models in business process management - Security in business processes - Process auditing *Enterprise Information Systems and Integration* - Business intelligence - Service composition - Workflow and business process management engines - Interoperability of enterprise applications - Integration of EIS and e-Business - Trust, security, and privacy - Collaborative methods for enterprise engineering. - Governance, maintenance and evolution of enterprise models. *Applications and Experience* - Enterprise engineering in the large - Business process management in selected industries - Case studies - Experiences with and evaluations of tools ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PAPERS AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES The paper length is 6 pages using the ACM SIG format. Document templates (LaTeX, MS Word) are available at (http://www.acm.org/conferences/sac/sac2013/). Authors may opt to add 2 additional pages (at extra charge), up to a maximum total of 8 pages. Submissions must be anonymous and authors must omit contact addresses and obvious self-references. Paper submissions must be made electronically in PDF format via the ACM SAC track management system at (https://www.softconf.com/c/sac2013/). Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Papers will be evaluated according to their significance, technical content, originality, style and clarity. Accepted papers will be published in the ACM SAC proceedings and in the ACM's Digital Library. The paper acceptance rate of ACM SAC is around 25%. At least one author is required to attend the conference and present the paper. All submitted papers must represent original work and can only be submitted to a single ACM SAC track. Papers submitted to more than one track will be removed from the conference. Double submissions, as well as submissions not conforming to the format guidelines above, will be discarded without notice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORGANIZATION Rafael Accorsi, University of Freiburg, Germany Artur Caetano, IST, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal Malu G.
