Non-linear optical sources. Metrology applications. Optically-pumped semiconductor lasers. Mid-infrared sources and materials. 2. Fibre and waveguide Devices Novel fibre and waveguide concepts. Fibre materials, fabrication, and characterisation. CW and pulsed fibre lasers. bragg-grating fibre lasers. Amplification in doped amplifiers. Raman amplifiers. High-power fibre and waveguide lasers. The Europhoton Conference includes a half-day Special Symposium on "From Femto-Science to Atto-Science: Sources and Applications". The Symposium will present the status and new developments of high-harmonic, ultrashort pulse generation and applications. The Special Symposium is free of charge for the conference participants and exhibitors. Special Symposium Chair: to be determined later List of Invited Speakers: to be announced later 4. Table top exhibit will open from Monday, 27th August trhough Thursday 30th August. The exhibits will be located within the area of poster sessions and coffee breaks in order to stimulate interactions between the conference attendees and exhibitors. |
