Call For Papers

The 2012 IEEE Workshop on Biometric Measurements and Systems for Security and Medical Applications (BioMS 2012) will be held in Salerno, Italy on September 14, 2012. This workshop aims to present and discuss various technological, methodological and application issues in these areas, especially concerning, but not limited to, advanced sensors, signal/image processing techniques, patter recognition approaches, systems and applications.

Papers are solicited on all aspects of biometric theory and practice in biometric-based measurements and systems, specifically for security and medical applications.

Important dates:

15 April 2012: submission of extended abstracts or draft papers
15 May 2012: acceptance/rejection notification
30 June 2012: final manuscript submission and registration
