Special session on “System, Synchronization and Security: The Trends with Chaos and Complexity”
Special session on System, Synchronization and Security: The Trends with Chaos and Complexity will be held in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE 2016). Chaos and complexity exist in many physical systems by nature or artificial generation in different dimensions, where, singularity can occur. For example, those are in signals generated by an oscillator, in the rhythms of heart beats, electroencephalogram signals, resource assessment in cloud computing, etc. More specifically, in physical, chaos and complexity occurs in different levels, the lowest at signal and the highest at system one. Besides, the interaction among systems creates much more complexity in compared with individuals, including synchronous phenomena. Investigation on phenomena as well as manners of complex systems by means of analyzing on signals and systems are of interest by scientists due to understand intended objects, also to exploit objects’ characteristics for application. So, far, predominant applications of chaos and complexity are in medical diagnosis, modulation and secure communications, cryptography, explanation for economic tendency, detection of outlier in cloud computing, etc. Obviously, the knowledge in deep about objects is essential base for application developments Special Session on System, Synchronization and Security: The Trends with Chaos and Complexity is to dedicate for presenting the trends in study of chaos and complexity from signal to systematic levels, with both aspects of theory and applications. Information about trends and recent developments in chaos and complexity will be discussed by scientists from academia, industry and governance working in as well as involving in this area. The contribution to the Special Session should focus on the aspects of chaos and complexity in both theory and application. Topics and technical areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: Complex adaptive systems: Systems from various branches like biomedical, neural, stock market, organizational complexity, etc Measure of complexity in various signals: Entropy and other measures Chaos and Synchronization: Novel phenomenon in ODE, time delayed and Space-Time systems Chaos control: Theory and experimental observations Dynamical models: Various nonlinear models and networks Chaos in noisy environment: Noise induced and enhanced chaos Fractals Analysis methods Security and Communication: Cryptosystems, semiconductor devices, communication network, etc Implementation on software and/or hardware: FPGA and other platforms) Submission All papers should be prepared in the form according to the IEEE standard template, in Portable Document Format (PDF) and must be limited to 3 pages at minimum and 6 pages at maximum, including text, references, tables and figures. Papers should be submitted online at http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=21277&track=77288. Publication All accepted papers will be published in the ICCE 2016 Conference Proceedings and only fully accepted papers will be forwarded to publish on IEEE Xplore®. The proceedings of ICCE series will be submitted to be listed in Conference Proceeding Citation Index (CPCI) of Thomson Reuters. Depending on the quality and quantity of submissions a special issue on “System, Synchronization and Security: The Trends with Chaos and Complexity” in a SCI/SCIE journal will be foreseen. High quality papers in the conference with relevant topics will be invited to upgrade to journal papers. Papers outside the conference are welcome to submit by sending e-mail to santoban@gmail.com or thang.hoangmanh@hust.edu.vn. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
