Many pattern recognition applications involve analysis of change over time, such as multiple still images of the same scene collected on different dates or motion imagery. Methods for analysis of imagery across time are applicable to a wide range of disciplines. The AIPR-2012 Executive Committee invites papers in the following topic areas:
• Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance applications, including activity-based intelligence • Medical and biometric applications • , forgery, and deception detection • Performance evaluation and metrics • Standard data sets, benchmarking, and data sharing • Novel sensing techniques or analysis of novel sensor data • Environmental monitoring and disaster response • Historical or retrospective papers. The Applied Imagery Pattern Recognition Workshop promotes and encourages the interdisciplinary interchange of ideas. The purpose of the annual AIPR workshops is to bring together researchers from government, industry, and academia in an elegant setting conducive to technical interchange across a broad range of disciplines. Abstracts are being accepted now, for both oral and poster presentations. Send abstracts (150 - 300 words) and inquiries to "programchair2012 at aipr-workshop dot org". Written papers will be required for accepted works being published in the AIPR Proceedings. The AIPR Home Page can be found at http://www.aipr-workshop.org/. AIPR 2012 is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, by IEEE, by Cybernet, and by the AIPR Executive Committee: Dedicated to facilitating the interchange between government, industry, and academia. |
