======================= MDA & MTDD 2010===============================================
2nd International Workshop on Model-Driven Architecture and Modeling Theory-Driven Development - MDA & MTDD 2010 ====================================================================================== In conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Approaches to Software Engineering - ENASE 2010 http://www.enase.org/Workshops.htm One day within conference dates of 22-24 July 2010 - Athens, Greece http://www.enase.org/MDA_MTDD.htm Background and Goals =============== The 2nd Workshop Model-Driven Architecture and Modeling Theory-Driven Development – MDA & MTDD. The workshop is aimed at theoretical and practical aspects of OMG’s Model Driven Architecture, the Modeling Theory-Driven Development, and Model-Driven Engineering as well. The first Workshop “Model – Driven Architecture: Foundations, Practices and Implications (MDA2009)” was organized in conjunction with the 13th Conference on Advances in Data Base and Information Systems (ADBIS 2009). Workshop Format ============== The workshop is planned as a one day event. We plan a keynote speech by Janis Osis - “Is Modeling a Treatment for the Weakness of Software Engineering?” - 50 min. with 10 min. discussion and 3 sessions, 90 min. each, with paper presentations 15 + 5 min. At the end of each session is planed a 10 min. discussion. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: =============================== Reasoning about models Computation Independent Model - knowledge model (pre-CIM) Computation Independent Model – business model Computation Independent Model – business requirements for the system Formalization of deriving use-cases from the CIM-business model Modeling theory-driven development of software Reconciling software requirements and architectures within MDA Modeling formalization of MDA’s software development Model transformation and code generation Modeling of requirements, architectures, platforms Model based techniques to guarantee the quality and efficiency of software development Domain modeling approaches in information systems engineering Model-Driven domain modeling, analysis and software development Concurrent model-driven automation engineering Domain-Specific Modeling Languages (DSMLs) Models for software product lines Models for web service design MDA-based distributed real-time and embedded systems Recovering reliable safety properties from system models Modeling for testing and validation Innovations and improvements of MDA Important Dates: ============ Regular Paper Submission: April 06, 2010 Authors Notification: May 04, 2010 Final Paper Submission and Registration: May 19, 2010 Workshop: one day within conference dates of 22-24 July 2010 Paper Submission ============= Papers should be submitted through the conference online submission system http://www.insticc.org/Primoris, and should be original research contributions. All papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee. At least one author should attend the workshop to present the paper. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in any of the topics listed above. Instructions for preparing the manuscript (in Word and Latex formats) are available at the conference Paper Templates web page http://www.enase.org/Pformat_sub_pub.htm Publications ========= All accepted papers will be published by INSTICC Press in the workshop proceedings book, under an ISBN reference, and on CD-ROM support. The workshops proceedings will be distributed to the participants in printed form at the registration desk. Publication of a selection of the workshop's best papers in a special issue of an international journal is under investigation. Registration Information ================== At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the workshop.If the registration fees are not received by May 19, 2010, the paper will not be published in the workshop roceedings book.
