*** Apologies if you receive multiple copies *** CALL FOR PAPERS Join us in Vienna for the 16th ACM Symposium on Document Engineering (DocEng 2016), September 13-16, 2016, Technische Universität Wien, Austria http://www.doceng2016.org -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 16th ACM Symposium on Document Engineering (DocEng 2016) will be held at the TU Wien, Vienna, Austria, on September 13-16, 2016. The symposium emphasizes innovative approaches to document engineering technology, use of documents and document collections in real world applications, novel principles, tools and processes that improve our ability to create, manage, maintain, share, and productively use these. Topic areas relevant to the symposium include (but are not limited to): * Modelling and Representation * Generation, Manipulation and Presentation * Document Analysis * Collections, Systems and Management * User Experience * Applications Important dates =============== * Mar 7, 2016: Full paper abstracts due * Mar 14, 2016: Full paper manuscripts due * Mar 21, 2016: Workshop and tutorial proposals due * May 23, 2016: Short papers and application notes due Submission Types ================ * Full papers (up to 10 pages) * Short papers (up to 4 pages) * Application notes/demos describing systems or tools of interest to the DocEng community (up to 4 pages) * Workshop/tutorial proposals All accepted papers in all categories will be included in the DocEng proceedings and be published in the ACM Digital Library. Submissions will be through EasyChair and should adhere to the ACM SIG Proceedings format.
