Call For Papers

15th World Congress of Applied Linguistics

AILA 2008 invites proposals for presentations that are related to policy, research, and theory in any area of applied linguistics.

INDIVIDUAL PAPERS
20 minutes for presentation; 10 minutes for discussion.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Posters are for one-on-one discussion of work in progress. They are effective for presenting data visually (charts, graphs, or tables). A block of time will be designated when presenters are available to discuss their posters. Specific guidelines for posters will be provided upon acceptance.

SYMPOSIA
Symposia are scheduled for three-hour blocks. Organizers of symposia may divide their time as they choose, but time should be allocated for opening and closing remarks, presentations, panel discussions (if included), and extended audience response. Organizers serve as the liaisons between participants and the program committee.

A note to ReN-convenors: as ReN-symposia have already been screened, ReN-organizers and -contributors do not have to follow the submission procedure. Regular symposia must, however, submit a proposal as specified.
