The International Conference on Computational Biology 2010 will take place in San Francisco, USA, 20-22 October, 2010.
The conference ICCB'10 is held under the World Congress on Engineering and Computer Science WCECS 2010. The WCECS 2010 is organized by the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), a non-profit international association for the engineers and the computer scientists. The congress has the focus on the frontier topics in the theoretical and applied engineering and computer science subjects. The last IAENG conference has attracted more than five hundred participants from over 30 countries. All submitted papers will be under peer review and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding (ISBN: 978-988-17012-0-6). The abstracts will be indexed and available at major academic databases. The accepted papers will also be considered for publication in the special issues of the journal Engineering Letters, in IAENG journals and in edited books by publishers like America Institute of Physics and Springer. The topics of the ICCB'10 include, but not limited to, the following: Biomedicine, epidemiology, & agriculture Computer-aided drug design Databases & database integration Evolution and phylogenetics Metabolomics Ontologies Pathways, networks, and systems Proteomics Sequence analysis Simulation & system dynamics Structural bioinformatics Text mining Transcriptomics Microarray Data Analysis Micro RNA and RNAi Biomedical Applications Therapeutic Applications of Computational Biology Computational Drug Discovery Computational Proteomics Computational genomics Microbial Community Analysis Synthetic Biological Systems Evolution and Phylogenetics Sequence Motifs, Alignments, and families Functional Genomics Promoter Analysis and Discovery, Recognition of Regulatory Elements Comparative Genomics and Annotation Genetic Variation (SNPs and Haplotyping, etc.) Development Control Measuring Cellular Metabolism and Cellular Signaling Computational Neurobiology Computational Ecology Mathematical and Quantitative Models of Cellular and Multicellular Systems Computational Techniques Biological Data Mining Biomedical Literature Text Mining Data Visualization High Performance Biocomputing Parallel Computation Machine Learning Pattern Recognition Knowledge Representation Databases Combinatorics Stochastic Modeling String and Graph Algorithms Linguistic Methods Constraint Satisfaction Information Theory and Statistical Analysis Hidden Markov Model Ontologies and Semantic Web Systems for Biology Clinical Informatics Neural Networks Time Series Analysis Sequencing and Arrangement Algorithms Interdisciplinary Issues Project Management Philosophy, Ethics of Bioinformatics Future Trends of Bioinformatics |
