The 5th conference in the ‘Aircraft Structural Design’ series will address the challenges facing the designers of the next generation of aircraft, which includes the requirement of designs to meet:

-Strict environmental constraints
-Increasing pressures to reduce manufacturing and life-cycle costs
-Continual improvements in overall performance/ efficiency factors
-Multi-disciplinary design approaches and solutions in a distributes design environment
