Special Session on Cooperative Strategies for Decision Making and Optimization (CSDMO 2015)
at 7th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence - Technologies and Applications (ICCCI 2015) Madrid, Spain 21-23 September 2015 Introduction The aim of the special session on Cooperative Strategies for Decision Making and Optimization (CSDMO 2015) is to bring together researchers interested in various problem solving techniques based on collective computational intelligence to share their experience, present current research results and discuss advanced techniques. Topics of submitted papers should focus on methods and applications where the tools and techniques exploiting collective computational intelligence are used to enhance, support or replace traditional approaches to solving optimization problems. In particular, we encourage papers reporting on the real-life applications of the cooperative problem solving. Topics of interests Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Computational intelligence - Cooperative strategies for optimization - Collective decision making - Evolutionary and co-evolutionary algorithms and their applications - Swarm intelligence - Adaptive methods for decision making and optimizations - Distributed optimization - Agent-based modeling and problem solving - Multi-agent optimization techniques and their applications - Applications of intelligent techniques for decision making and optimization problems - Knowledge-based systems - Other related topics Information for authors The papers will be reviewed by the ICCCI 2015 International Program Committee. The papers should present results of the original and unpublished research. The best submissions will be selected for presentation and will be included in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in the prestigious series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence of Springer-Verlag and indexed by ISI (CPCI-S), Web of Science, EI, Scopus, DBLP, ACM Digital Library etc. Submitted papers should be prepared in LNCS/LNAI style and it should follow the instruction given at the ICCCI 2015 website. All papers must be submitted electronically using submission system available on the ICCCI 2015 conference website.
