The 2012 International Conference on Advanced Mechatronic Systems (ICAMechS 2012) is sponsored by International Journal of Advanced Mechatronic Systems (IJAMechS), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, International Journal of Modelling, Identification and Control. It provides an international forum for professionals, academics, and researchers to present latest developments from interdisciplinary theoretical studies, computational algorithm development and applications of mechatronic systems. It particularly welcomes those emerging methodologies and techniques which bridge theoretical studies and applications in all mechatronic systems. Novel quantitative engineering and science studies may be considered as well. The ICAMechS 2012 will be held in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan. Papers are solicited on all aspects of research and application, including but not limited to:

 Mechatronics design philosophy
 Power system(Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, Micro Grid, Energy Saving)
 Mechatronic system modelling, identification and control
 Energy and environment
 Instrumentation and manufacturing methods
 Control and optimization techniques
 Neural networks, fuzzy logic, and other heuristic techniques
 Robotics
 Networked mechatronic systems
 Applications of machine vision, image processing, pattern recognition and synthesis
 Design ideas on computer integration
 Mechatronic systems fault diagnosis and fault tolerance
 Biomechatronics
 Grey systems
 Discrete event and hybrid systems
 Petri nets

Submissions & Publication:

Papers should describe original and unpublished work about the above or related topics. All manuscripts will be reviewed by three members of the ICAMechS program committee. Instructions for preparation and electronic submission will be available shortly on ICAMechS2012 website.
