[Submission aiming at IEEE CPS publication must follow the new deadline (30 August) strictly. Others may follow the timelines for the domestic track in TAAI 2013 (http://taai2013.nccu.edu.tw).]
This workshop will include paper presentations and computer game competitions. It will provide a stage of technical communication for both academic scientists and game programmers in the area of computer games. High quality research papers are solicited on all aspects of research related to computers and games. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: 1. Current state of game-playing programs for classic game, modern board game, card games and puzzles 2. Virtual and video games 3. New theoretical developments in game-related research 4. General scientific contributions produced by the study of games 5. Social aspects of computer games 6. Cognitive research of how humans play games, 7. Networked games Game tournaments consist of both computer-computer and human-computer games, and multiple awards will be granted. Information about computer-computer games (http://www.tcga.tw/taai2013/) is maintained by the Taiwan Computer Game Association (http://www.tcga.tw/). Competent computer programs will challenge invited famous experts of Chinese chess and/or go games. |
