Scientific Programm
The Scientific Programme of MATHMOD 2012 will consist of Invited Contributions MATHMOD Contributions MATHMOD Work-in-Progress Contributions MATHMOD Student Contributions MATHMOD Minisymposia Contributions Types of Contributions The organisers invite scientists, researchers, developers and practitioners in mathematical modelling and simulation to submit contributions - papers and posters - to MATHMOD 2012. Submission is open for the MATHMOD Contributions, MATHMOD Work-in-Progress Contributions and MATHMOD Student Contributions. Furthermore, people are invited to organise a MATHMOD Minisymposium. MATHMOD Contributions Publication: Abstract (1 page) in printed Abstract Volume Preprint (6 pages) on CD Proceedings (6 pages) on Publication-Server (IFAC Online) Presentation: Oral Presentation in parallel sessions Review: For Publication of Abstract and CD Preprint, submission of Review Abstract (min 2 pages) via Conftool For Publication of Proceedings on Publication Server, Full Paper Review of submitted CD Preprint (after conference) Subject: Presentation of new ideas, application and results or extensions of established approaches and applications in modelling and simulation, which have not published and have not being considered for publication elsewhere. MATHMOD Work-in-Progress Contributions Publication: Abstract (1 page) in printed Abstract Volume Preprint (6 pages) on CD Proceedings (6 pages) on Publication-Server (IFAC Online) Presentation: Poster Presentation in poster session Review: For Publication of Abstract and Preprint, submission of Review Abstract (min 2 pages) via Conftool For Publication of Proceedings, Full Paper Review of submitted Preprint (after conference) Subject: Work-in-Progress Contributions are intended for presentation of recent developments and work in progress in all areas of modelling and simulation. As well applications aspects as well as theoretical aspects are welcome. MATHMOD Student Contributions Publication: Abstract (1 page) in printed Abstract Volume Proceeding (4-6 pages) on CD Presentation: Poster Presentation in poster session Review: For Publication of Abstract and Proceedings, submission of Review Abstract (2-4 pages) via Conftool Subject: Student Contributions are intended to present results of PhD theses or similar; the author (and co-authors) must be a student – to be proven by indication of a her/his valid inscription number of the home university. Contributions to Minisymposia are MATHMOD Contributions - called MATHMOD Minisymposia Contributions, where first review is organised by the Organisers of the Minisymposia Organisers: MATHMOD Minisymposia Contributions Publication: Abstract (1 page) in printed Abstract Volume Preprint (6 pages) on CD Proceedings (6 pages) on Publication-Server (IFAC-Online) Presentation: Oral Presentation in parallel sessions Review: For Publication of Abstract and Preprint, Review organised by Minisymposium Chair For Publication of Proceedings, Full Paper Review of submitted Preprint (after conference) MATHMOD 2012 Copyright Regulations Only contributions not published and not being considered for publication elsewhere may be submitted to MATHMOD 2012 with CD preprint publication and facultative post-conference publication at IFAC-PapersOnLine.net. All contributions accepted by the preconference review will be published in a Preprint Volume (Printed Abstracts, CD with Full Papers), which will be available at begin of MATHMOD 2012. The publishers of the MATHMOD-Preprints (Inge Troch and Felix Breitenecker) hold the copyright for publication of papers. Any paper submitted for preprints is automatically reviewed for post-conference publication at IFAC-PapersOnLine.net (full paper review); if accepted, Copyright is transferred to IFAC (for details, see IFAC-PapersOnLine.net). Furthermore, full paper review may suggest to submit an extended version for MCMDS, the journal “Mathematical and Computer Simulation of Dynamical Systems”, published by Taylor and Francis. Only if the (corresponding) author is not notified within five months after the date of the meeting (i.e. by July 15, 2012 at latest) that the paper will be published at IFAC-PapersOnLine.net, or/and be considered for publication in MCMDS, the paper is released for publication elsewhere. In this case, the publication must contain reference to the paper having been presented at the MATHMOD Conference 2012. |
