Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The ubiquitous nature of sensors and sensor networks has led to a growing interest in rendering them smart and autonomous. In addition to information processing in sensor networks, intelligent methods are being incorporated into the design, implementation and management of sensor networks. The resulting smart sensor networks are therefore able to meet the demand for autonomy and hence being adopted for a wide range of applications. This workshop is intended to provide a forum for presenting, exchanging and discussing the most recent advances in different aspects of smart sensor networks. The workshop will bring together leading researchers from academics and industry to present their research and experiences from developing/deploying sensor networks. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
› Cognitive Sensor Networks › Low and High Level Data Fusion › Bio-Inspired Computing › Reasoning and Inference › Learning Algorithms › Smart Home / Smart Grids › Sensor Network Security › Internet of Things › Computational Intelligence › Human-Sensor Interactions › Distributed Algorithms and Sensing › Network Health / Management › Sensor Tasking and Control › Spatio-Temporal Information › Detection, Estimation and Tracking › Sensor Network Applications We invite original papers (i.e. work not previously submitted, in submission, or to be submitted to another conference during the reviewing process). The authors should note that Organizing Committee is currently discussing with different journals and extended versions of accepted papers will be submitted to SCI-Indexed journals for publication. The electronic submission is due on or before October 15, 2010. Please submit as early as possible if you are able to do so. Authors should prepare submissions of no more than four (4) pages in IEEE Conference paper style (10 font, 2-column) including tables, figures, and references. The papers should be submitted online (www.iwssn.org). We ask you to prepare your papers compatible with the IEEE PDF Express. Please include the following:: Paper title should be initial caps -- Meaning First Letter of the Main Words Should be Made Capital Letters. Authors Complete Names -- For each and all authors their first name and last name need to be included after the title of the paper on the first page, and on the electronic submission page. Affiliation -- Each authors' affiliation, department, institution, location, state, country and email address should be included and MUST be entered on the submissions page. Abstract -- Please include an abstract (short overview) of your paper on the first page top of the left hand column and be entered into the abstract field on the submission page word for word. References -- IEEE style references/citations should be used within the paper Submission -- The conference submissions need to be done using Microsoft CMT and you can submit your paper only in Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word file formats. Please name your submission file with the LEAD (first) author's last name in all lower case letters (for example: smith.pdf (or) smith.doc). |
