Posted: December 18, 2015 Please join us for the next edition of « International Conference on Image and Signal Processing ICISP2016 » *********************************************************************************** * International Conference on Image and Signal Processing (ICISP) * * May 30 – June 1, 2016 * Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada * ************************************************************************************ Important dates: Submission of full-papers January 17, 2016 Notification of acceptance February 21, 2016 Camera-ready papers March 5, 2016 Paper submission: Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of not more than eight (8) pages including results, figures and references. Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission at Eeasychair Platform (http://ift.tt/1Pbx3tP)The conference proceedings with final versions of the accepted papers will be published by Springer in their series Lecture Notes in Computer Science are listed in the ISI proceedings index.Invited Speakers: This edition will feature renowned invited speakers from France (Jocelyn CHANUSSOT) and Canada (Roland MEMISEVIC and Robert LAGANIERE). Journal Special Issue:The conference organizers are pleased to announce that a special issue on the best papers of the international journal “Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications (JMTA)” (impact factor = 1,346) is planned. Scope and Topics: ICISP 2016 aims to provide researchers and practitioners from academia and industry with a forum to report on the latest developments in image and signal processing, multimedia and computer graphics. The conference will also provide a unique opportunity for shearing experiences from different backgrounds with the common interest in advanced methods in the above mentioned fields and in industrial applications. We warmly invite you to participate in this event by submitting your work in all aspects of this field from underlying technologies to applications, and from theory to practice. The technical program will consist in invited talks, oral and poster sessions with topics of general interest in a single track. We particularly encourage submissions from students. Papers are solicited addressing theoretical as well as practical issues related to the conference themes. We look forward to seeing you in Trois-Rivières in 2016 for what will be a most rewarding and exciting experience! The International Conference on Image and Signal Processing (ICISP) aims to provide researchers and practitioners from academia and industry with a forum to report on the latest developments in image and signal processing, multimedia, matematical imaging and vision and computer graphics. ICISP 2016, the 7th in the series that has been held since 2001, will bring together leading engineers and scientists in image, signal and video processing from around the world. Topics include, but are not limited to: • Image and video processing: image filtering, restoration and enhancement, image segmentation, video segmentation and tracking, morphological processing, feature extraction and analysis, interpolation and super-resolution, motion detection and estimation, computer vision, pattern recognition, content-based image retrieval. • Signal Processing: spectral analysis, time-frequency and time-scale representation, statistical signal processing, filtering, detection and estimation, nonlinear signal processing, radar, antennas, telecommunications systems, acoustics. • Computer graphics: algorithms, visualization, animation, virtual reality. • Mathematical Imaging and Vision: filters theory, imaging algebra, mathematical morphology, probabilistic, statistical, fractals techniques, optimization, approximation theory, models in imaging science • Applications: biomedical sciences, biometry, document image processing and authentication, other applications.Special Sessions: A special session on Digital Cultural Heritage is also organized with the support of the European COST Action TD1201 (www.cosch.info) MCS2016: Further to the successful collaboration between ICISP and the International Symposium on Multispectral Colour Science, MCS2016 will be organized once again as part of ICISP 2016 |
