International Society on Infant Studies
Call for Submissions XVIth Biennial International Conference on Infant Studies Vancouver, Canada, March 27-29, 2008 We cordially invite you to attend the International Conference on Infant Studies. The goal of the conference is to promote the internationalization of infancy research and the exchange of ideas among infancy researchers. The conference will be held at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, Canada, March 27-29, 2008 (with pre-conferences on March 26). The Westin Bayshore Hotel is located in downtown Vancouver and enjoys views of the coastline, the mountains, and Stanley Park (connected to the hotel via its Seawall). You are just moments away from unspoiled nature. Vancouver was voted the "Best City in the Americas" in 2004, 2005 and 2006 by Condé Nast Traveler magazine, based on the categories of ambience, friendliness, culture and sites, restaurants, lodging, and shopping. This is just one of the city's many awards and accolades that demonstrate clearly the many reasons to visit Vancouver! Vancouver is a dynamic, multicultural city set in a spectacular natural environment. No matter what time of the year you visit, there are indoor and outdoor activities to please adults, children, families, and friends. As the proud host of the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games, Vancouver looks ahead to ongoing growth and great success in tourism, hospitality and business services each year. |
