16th IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing and Information Technology
12-14 December 2016, Limassol, Cyprus http://cyprusconferences.org/isspit2016/ Special Session on Quality of Experience for Mobile Communications Call for Papers QoE is defined as the subjective measure of a customer’s experience with a Telecom service. New methodologies and systems are required to plan, deliver, monitor, and ensure QoE in a constantly changing environment where new services and ap plications are continually introduced and upgraded. Modeling QoE is challenging due to complex subjective user parameters and diverse objective network parameters. The Special Session on Quality of Experience for Mobile Communications will bring together researchers from academia and industry, to identify and discuss technical challenges, exchange novel ideas, explore enabling technologies, and report latest research efforts that cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to: QoE for mobile devices QoE in smart cities QoE relation and mapping to QoS QoE models for networked applications and digital media QoE monitoring and management QoE factors in mobile browser based applications and IoT applications QoE for new wireless multimedia applications QoE evaluation methodologies and metrics (subjective, objective, online versus offline) QoE-based routing and resource management Context-awareness in QoE management Experimental studies and approaches on QoE Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length, 6-page (max) papers in two-column formats including diagrams and references. Authors can submit their papers as PDF files. More information regarding submissions can be found on the Submission Information page. Important Dates Extended abstract submission deadline: Oct. 15, 2016 Acceptance notification: Oct. 30, 2016 Camera-ready full paper deadline: Nov. 10, 2016 Special Session Organizers Konstantinos Plataniotis, University of Toronto, Canada, Petros Spachos, University of Guelph, Canada Angelos Marnerides, Lancaster University, UK |
